Located at the edge of San Frediano, dubbed the coolest neighborhood in the world by Lonely Planet. One bedroom with a queen bed, two bathrooms, spacious American-style kitchen, a large working space, air conditioning in the bedroom, ceiling fan in kitchen, noise cancelling windows. On the top floor (3rd floor by Italian standards, 4th by US standards) which means no noise above you. There is no elevator. 20-minute walk to the center, bus and tram nearby, a large park right across the river and pretty hills very close to the apartment. The street the apartment is on is full of eateries, bakeries, wine bars, delicatessens, cafes—all more local than the restaurants in the center. Very nearby is an Esselunga grocery store, which means you have only a short walk with your groceries.
